Detailing the Athearn SD45T-2 (Part 20)

Shown below is the drop step bracket mounted with the cutout, or notch up. To mount the bracket, I positioned it atop the pilot/walkway between the center front stanchions. Make sure the front edge is flush with the flat spot molded on the small lip anticlimber. Once the bracket is positioned between the center stanchions secure it with solvent cement.

Note: The yellow text in the photo is the directions DA gives for mounting the drop step in the lowered position.
